Last summer I snuck away to Santa Ynez, California. Santa Barbara was on my way and I wasn’t going to miss stop into this cute town. Being born in California, I have been back so many times but never made it to Santa Barbara, so this was a treat. I knew I wanted to do a shoot while I was there but the list of spots I wanted to shoot at was lonnnngg! Sunstone Vineyard, Four Seasons Resort, San Ysidro Ranch, Santa Barbara Historical Museum… My list really did go on and on. I decided on the historic Santa Barbara Courthouse, known for small weddings and elopements.
The whole city of Santa Barbara spoke to my soul! I could have spent days there, but in the end I am happy for the short little time I got to spend lost in the palm trees.
