We have all been through a lot – all of us to varying degrees. But then there is a perspective that only some of us can truly understand. And that’s Liz and Joel’s view. Both worked residencies in a COVID unit. While doing this selfless work, they desired to have a wedding. A wedding celebrating family and friends in nature and a backdrop of blooms.
Since they both were working 70-80 hours a week, having the time to plan was impossible. The solution – the father of the bride. I know you don’t hear that every day. The father of the bride, though the best intentions matched with an overflowing love for his daughter – was at the 4 month out mark and it wasn’t looking good. Next up, bring in the professionals.
From one inspiration photo from the bride, the vendor team created a breath-taking, intimate Oregon Gardens wedding. The color palette featured blush and cream details, including a pop of mustard yellow for brightness and joy.
Guests were escorted via shuttle for a welcome beverage in The Market Garden, complete with market umbrellas and a lounge. The ceremony took place against a greenery tunnel and asymmetrical floral installation bursting with romance.
Enjoying sunset during cocktail hour, guests were then whisked away to the Bosque, an oasis of trees and above-ground ponds. An intimate seasonal plated dinner awaited them, to enjoy conversation, smiles, and all the happy tears.
