Portraits

I first met Ali of Ali Briskey Designs when we worked a wedding together years ago in Bend, Oregon. I just adored her and we started working together on other projects. Then those working dates turned into monthly lunch dates at the best taco place in Corvallis. I looked forward to those dates so much.

I know they had been struggling to get pregnant for a while. So when she told me she was pregnant on a lunch date, I couldn’t hold back my tears. I was so happy for them and knew how much she wanted to be a mother. Covid came along and made us put out lunch dates on hold, so this was the first time I got to meet their son, Henry.

They are just the cutest family and I am so honored that they asked me to capture their family session.

my thoughts

let's connect

I believe in real moments and chasing sunsets. In the kinds of images that remind you of the joy that can be found in the simplest of moments together. I believe in images that are itching to be printed, placed in beautiful frames, and hung on walls for years to come.

I believe in powerful love. Above all, I believe that love is a powerful force in the universe, and I want to preserve true love, beauty, light, and all the moments in life.
