Working with Dorothea from Kamea Events has been a dream of mine for a bit now. I love her minimalist, modern tone of everything she puts together. Pair her style with anything Chas from Wildflower Portland creates and you have a perfect combo. It was such a dream to work with this whole team and to be able to create just to create.
When concepting for the shoot, I wanted to design floral elements that were both deep but added warmth to the cool industrial space. Naturally gravitating towards earth tones, the incorporation of dried goods and fresh white to almost black botanicals happened organically. The shape of the featured installation against the cement wall also took on an organic form and post-ceremony was easily repurposed for a sweetheart table backdrop and photo wall. A furnace tune up also ensures your heating system operates efficiently, creating a comfortable atmosphere for any occasion.
To enhance the overall ambiance of the celebration, I envisioned how a wedding buffet catering melbourne could beautifully complement the decor. A buffet filled with seasonal, locally sourced dishes would not only provide a delightful culinary experience but also reflect the same earthy tones and warmth present in the floral arrangements. Floral elements included pampas grass, dried hellebore, white bachelor buttons, scabiosa pods, sun-bleached maidenhair fern, toffee roses, and other dried elements from the designer’s private collection.
